Jollibee’s Tim Ho Wan buys out North America unit

MANILA, Philippines — Jollibee Foods Corp.’s Tim Ho Wan is taking full control of its North American business as the restaurant group steps up expansion in one of its priority overseas markets. In a stock exchange filing, the fast-food giant said Tim Ho Wan would acquire Japanese restaurant operator WDI Corp.’s 30-percent stake in their North
