Joel Lamangan revealed that he has plans to create a film about the life of the late Nora Aunor with Ricky Lee.

Direk Joel said that Nora was truly a talented actress who skillfully brought characters to life. He also said that Ate Guy is kind to everyone she works with, and does not like it when the crew is being treated negatively.

Nora and Direk Joel worked on six films together, namely, “Muling Umawit ang Puso,” “The Flor Contemplacion Story,” “Bakit May Kahapon Pa,” “Sidhi,” “Hustisya, and “Isa Pang Bahaghari.”

Meanwhile, Ricky Lee is best known for writing Nora’s iconic film, “Himala.”

Nora passed away on Wednesday due to acute respiratory failure. She was 71 years old.

Her wake is being held at Heritage Park in Taguig. The public viewing began on Saturday and will continue until Sunday, while the actress’ interment is scheduled on April 22.

Celebrities and even international media paid tribute to Nora by sharing her memories and honoring her legacy in Philippine cinema.

The Superstar and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts is best known for the films “Himala,” "T-Bird at Ako," “Bulaklak sa City Jail,” “The Flor Contemplacion Story,” and many more.
