Jin of BTS is going on his first ever solo tour!
BTS announced on their Weverse page that Worldwide Handsome is set to embark on the "Run Seokjin EP Tour." It kicks off on June 28 and 29 at the Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Goyang, South Korea.
Jin will then head to Chiba and Osaka in Japan; Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the United States; and London and Amsterdam in Europe.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the Run Seokjin EP Tour is a fan concert, or a show that “blends live music performances with fan-centered segments, allowing for more intimate interactions between artists and their supporters.”
The tour announcement comes after Jin revealed his second solo album, “Echo,” which comes out on May 16.
“’Echo’ conveys universal life experiences and emotions through Jin's unique and charming perspective,’” the Weverse announcement said.
Its title track, “Don’t Say You Love Me,” is all about “the emotional paradox of a couple who remain entangled in love despite the collapse of their relationship,” according to Yonhap.
Jin finished his mandatory military service in June 2024.
Later that year, Jin released his debut solo album “Happy” which includes the tracks “I’ll Be There,” “Running Wild,” and “Heart on the Window” with Wendy of Red Velvet.
He also launched the variety show, “Run Jin” and made his late night TV debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
