"Drag Race Philippines" resident judge Jiggly Caliente, named Bianca Castro in real life, will not appear in the upcoming season of the drag show nor participate in any public engagements indefinitely due to a "serious health setback," according to her family.

Jiggly's family posted a statement on her Instagram account Thursday, where they shared that Jiggly was hospitalized and has lost "most of her right leg" due to a severe infection.

"Because of these circumstances, Bianca will not be appearing in the upcoming season of 'RuPaul's Drag Race Philippines,' nor will she be participating in any public engagements for the foreseeable future. Her recovery will be extensive," they said.

Her family has asked for privacy as they "navigate this difficult journey together."

They also asked Jiggly's fans, friends, and drag community to help lift her spirits with hopeful messages on her social media platforms as she focuses on her recovery.

"Bianca's family and drag house are deeply grateful for the continued outpouring of support, strength, and prayers," they said.

Jiggly was among the judges of all three seasons of "Drag Race Philippines." She competed in Season 4 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" and Season 6 of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars."
