Jasmine Curtis-Smith wrote the loveliest greeting for her older sister or “sestra,” Anne Curtis, on the latter's 40th birthday.
The Kapuso actress shared a selfie with Anne on Instagram and wrote, “Happiest birthday to my sestra of all seasons.”
Per Jasmine, the actress and “It’s Showtime” host did not age at all, and that her 30th birthday feels like it was just last year.
“In the last decade, it’s been wonderful to witness changes & growth in your life, many of your dreams achieved, and still I see you continue to list down and work towards each and every new one,” Jasmine said.
She added that Anne remains an inspiration for her and young women.
“You continue to set an amazing example of a woman in everlasting bloom, to show me and many young women what that looks like and how beautiful that journey can be/already is!” Jasmine said.
“So cheers to this new chapter, know that your lil sis will always look up to and cherish you, be by your side and wish she was as cool as you!” she added. “I love you, Ate/Sestra/Maman!”
In the comments section, Anne told Jasmine, “Love you so so much sestra!!!”
Anne and Jasmine memorably performed together on "It's Showtime" for Magpasikat 2023, and impressed audiences with aerial stunts.
In the same year, when Anne attended the GMA Gala for the first time following “It's Showtime’s” debut on GMA, Jasime could only say, "Ang saya, finally magkasama kami."
Jasmine was also the supportive sister as she attended Anne’s Madame Tussauds wax figure unveiling in 2024.
In January, the sisters bonded over music by going to the Cigarettes After Sex concert together.
