Japanese health-tech firm eyeing PH factory

A Japanese manufacturer of health and wellness devices is considering setting up shop in the Philippines as an export manufacturing base, following President Marcos’ recent state visit to Japan. According to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Tanita Corp. identified the Philippines as a potential site for its proposed “Factory No. 3,” adding to
