InfiniVAN, Inc., a Japan-affiliated digital solutions and telecommunications company in the Philippines, plans to launch a ₱2 billion to ₱3 billion initial public offering in the domestic capital market later this year.
In an interview, BDO Capital and Investment Corporation President Eduardo Francisco said the firm is a “very niche” player in the local telecom industry as it provides fiber-optic broadband services to businesses.
On its website, InfiniVAN said, “We provide a business Internet user experience that is at par with global standards, delivered via end-to-end Fiber Optic Network Infrastructure that is fully redundant and backed up by experienced and reliable management and technical support teams.”
“It’s a small company but they’re doing very well. They're very niche,” Francisco said noting that the firm, which has some Filipino investors, has a lot of customers.
Francisco explained that InfiniVAN provides corporate clients a backup to their priority broadband provider, although, for some smaller customers, the firm is their main internet provider.
The company sub-contracts lease lines from PLDT Inc. and then resells the connections to its business clients through long-term contracts.
Francisco noted that, InfiniVAN is not competing directly with telecom giants since it is a business-to-business enterprise and is not in the retail or residential segment of the business.
InfiniVAN said it delivers a varied menu of high-capacity transmission technologies that are used to transmit data at stable and reliable high speeds.
The bandwidth on demand feature that is embedded in its connectivity services allows burst to higher speed tiers above what they are subscribed to as the network allows.
Cebu City has recently tapped the firm to provide reliable, high-speed, and secure internet connectivity with a notice to proceed awards last January 27, 2025.
Through a fiber loop infrastructure connecting barangays, InfiniVAN is set to enhance digital access, drive economic growth, and improve public services for Cebuanos.
This initiative aligns with Cebu’s vision of a fully connected and future-ready metropolis, ensuring that residents, businesses, and local government units can benefit from seamless online communication, efficient e-governance services, and enhanced cybersecurity measures.
