James Gunn just shared the first look at the upcoming “Supergirl” movie!
On X, the filmmaker posted a photo of the title character, played by Milly Alcock, in her costume. She wore a brown coat on top of the suit and was sipping on a soda.
In the background was the iconic Superman logo with the words “Look up” but it was spray-painted to say, “Look out.”
“Look Out. 2026,” James said in the caption.
Kara Zor-El or Supergirl, the cousin of Kal-El also known as Clark Kent or Superman, made a brief cameo at the end of “Superman.”
The new "Superman" film establishes the iconic hero in the new DC Studios cinematic universe headed by James and Peter Safran. It stars David Corenswet.
"Superman" also stars Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.
David, Rachel, and James visited the Philippines in June for the first stop of their promotion tour.
During their visit, they met "Lumpia Queen" Abi Marquez and tried making their own halo-halo.
