It was a heartfelt and emotional moment for actress Jackie Lou Blanco as she paid tribute to her former husband and veteran star Ricky Davao during the last night of his wake.

Jackie shared warm memories and stories of Ricky in front of family and friends. Then, in a touching and gracious moment, the actress even extended her gratitude to Ricky's girlfriend, Mayeth Malca.

"I want to thank you Malca for taking such good care of Ricky. I want to thank you so much. Thank you for my family to yours. Thank you so much for loving Ricky as you did. Thank you," Jackielou tearfully said.

The two women embraced, offering each other comfort and appreciation.

Jackie also added lightness to the atmosphere by sharing a humorous anecdote involving the "three beautiful women in Ricky's life": herself, Mayeth, and Cheryl Singzon, a former non-showbiz partner and mother of one of Ricky's children.

All three were present during Ricky's hospitalization, taking turns in caring for him. Jackie recalled how even Ricky's doctor seemed puzzled and asked her privately," I want to know kasi how will I address you?"

Jackie laughed and said she reintroduced herself and the others.

"[Sabi ng doktor,] 'Okay po kayong tatlo?' Obviously, okay po kami," she said with a chuckle.

She even joked about likening their situation to the song “Si Aida, Si Lorna, o Si Fe,” or the 2014 GMA drama Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real.

"Kidding aside, when these things happen, matters like this are not important anymore. I mean, we were all there to take care of Ricky in our own way. I was there not only to check on Ricky but to make sure that my children are okay because it was very difficult for them," she added.

Jackie reflected on how Ricky's warm personality and genuine kindness made such harmony possible between them, even in complicated circumstances.

"Though our time together Ricky changed over the years, I will always honor the good we shared and the family that we built. Your presence will be missed in the everyday moments. The family gatherings na lagi kang nagpapatawa, the quiet ways you showed how you cared..."

Choking back tears, Jackie ended her speech with a promise:

"Ricky, rest well knowing how deeply loved. Thank you so much for being the kind of father that you are and I promise you like I promised you, na hindi ko pababayaaan mga anak natin. I will take care of them, we will honor you by sharing kung ano 'yung tinuro mo sa amin. We will honor you by trying to be excellence in whatever field that we are in and by being good people just like you are."
