Jackie Lou Blanco has said that she and her children are "trying to draw strength from each other" amid the passing of Ricky Davao.
In a "Balitanghali" report on Monday, Jackie Lou said it has been difficult for her kids after their father passed away just less than a month after their grandmother and Jackie Lou's mom, Pilita Corrales, died on April 12.
"It's particularly hard for my children because they lost their dad and their mamita at the same time. So, is it difficult? Yes it is difficult," she said.
"We are just trying to draw strength from each other and just praying for God's strength that we are able to go through this together."
Ricky's death was confirmed by his daughter, Ara Davao, on May 2. He passed away from complications related to cancer. He was 63.
Ricky's wake is being held at Heritage Park in Taguig City and will continue until May 7.
Following his passing, Jackie Lou said on Instagram that he "will forever be missed." Several celebrities also paid tribute to the veteran actor.
Jackie Lou and Ricky got married in 1989 but separated later on. Together, they have three kids: Kenneth, Rikki Mae, and Arabella.
