ACTRESS-VLOGGER Ivana Alawi recently issued a vehement denial that contrary to a seeress' grim assertion, she isn't suffering from a life-threatening ailment — cancer.
Ivana admittedly went through a really tough period during the months of October and November last year.
Later diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), the actress had initially experienced an unexplained bloating of her tummy.
Her condition made her family worried sick and anxious, but surprisingly not her.
"Why should I be afraid of 'going ahead' when it's a fact of life? But sorry to disappoint [seeress' name], only God decides our fate!"

Only recently did Ivana host a get-together for the entertainment media. Her first ever generous treat since her successful vlogging began, Ivana — for all the luck that has befallen her from heaven — still wouldn't spill the tea how much her net worth has now reached.
"Basta marami akong pera (I have so much money)!" she declared.
Wild guessers, got rough figures in mind?

WHAT do Nora Aunor, Snooky Serna, Janice de Belen and Maricel Soriano share in common?
It's already a given that all four are acting stalwarts. But apart from this, they undeniably have an ear for music most especially one that tugs at anyone's heartstrings.
Separate videos taken presumably in the comfort of their homes are going the rounds of social media, showing them intently listening to Jojo Mendrez's revived version of "Somewhere in My Past."
If it rings a bell, if not a belfry, it's the late Julie Vegas' original song recorded in the late 80s.
Nora, Snooky, Janice and Maricel were made to listen to it, and later asked what they felt about it.
Here are their individual thoughts about the ditty:
Nora: "Gusto kong maiyak (I was moved I wanted to cry)"
Maricel: "It makes me wanna cry"
Snooky: (Her up-and-down head movements say it all)
Janice: "It sounds very much R&B. I like the arrangement!"
Of the quartet made to pass their musical judgment on Jojo's distinct interpretation of a love song gone by but never forgotten, it's Janice, in real life, who was the closest to its original artist.
The early 80s bore witness to Janice's and Julie's raging yet healthy competition on the boob tube — Flor de Luna and Anna Lisa, respectively.
Who'd ever forget their photo taken together as Julie lay on her sick bed at the hospital with a consoling Janice on her side?
Grieving fans can only shake their heads, wishing that if Julie were still alive to this day, she would have turned nearly 58 — and yes, still active and visible on TV as much as Janice.
Thanks to Jojo, touted as the 'Revival King.'
Not only did he immortalize an iconic melody, he also relished Julie's fond memories and relive the late artist's meaningful life lurking somewhere in her past.
