Israel's Ministry of Tourism hosts PH delegation at IMTM 2025

THE Israel Ministry of Tourism welcomed 46 international tour operators and 11 leading travel journalists from around the world to the International Mediterranean Tourism Market (IMTM) in Tel Aviv on May 7–8, 2025.

This global gathering forms part of the Ministry's ongoing strategy to position Israel as a premier travel destination and to highlight the country's vibrant tourism offerings, safety and welcoming atmosphere.

Minister of Tourism Haim Katz said: "Hosting tour operators, particularly those visiting Israel for the first time, is a move that will enhance Israel's marketing efforts abroad and help build the infrastructure needed to break records in incoming tourism. Their arrival in Israel reflects great confidence in the Israeli tourism product, which offers a unique blend of experiences unmatched anywhere else."

Delegates arrived from 11 countries, including the United States, India, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Brazil, France, South Korea, Russia and Spain. The visit provides these professionals with an opportunity to personally experience the sights, flavors and heritage that set Israel apart as a destination.

Among the participants is a delegation from the Philippines, a key growth market for Israel. The group includes travel agents and media representatives, who tours the country and takes part in the IMTM 2025 events.
