MANILA, Philippines — Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) achieved a milestone in 2024, marking 25 consecutive years as the country’s leading truck brand.

In a statement, IPC said it maintained its position as the top truck brand in the Philippines for 25 consecutive years, as it sold 4,591 truck units last year, accounting for 41 percent of the market.

IPC also achieved a triple crown feat, dominating all three major truck categories: light-duty, medium-duty and heavy-duty trucks.

The automotive company sold 2,812 units of its N-Series light-duty trucks, capturing 43 percent of the Category III or light-duty truck segment last year.

“The Isuzu N-Series continues to be the top choice for Filipino businesses due to its unmatched combination of durability, fuel efficiency and adaptability to various business applications,” IPC president Tetsuya Fujita said.

“We are proud that our light-duty trucks have remained a staple in the industry, providing dependable solutions that help businesses grow and thrive,” he said further.

IPC sold 1,534 units in the Category IV or medium-duty trucks and buses segment, cornering 40 percent of the market last year.

IPC’s Isuzu F-Series medium-duty trucks, which cater to logistics, cold chain and industrial hauling needs, have been posting significant growth in recent years.
