Inflation rose to 1.8% in December 2025

MANILA, Philippines – Philippine inflation picked up to 1.8 percent in December, with higher food prices exerting upward pressure, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday. The latest print was higher than November’s 1.5 percent rate but remained within the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) 1.2 to 2 percent forecast range for the month.
