 What do they mean?

What are the voters thinking?

MANILA, Philippines – This week, two surveys dropped — strategically timed for the start of the official campaign period for national elective offices. We get what the surveys say; the numbers are clear enough. But what do they mean? What are voters thinking?

In this episode of In The Public Square, Rappler columnist and editorial consultant John Nery is joined by the heads of two pollsters in the Philippines. To talk about the latest Pulse Asia survey — which was conducted from January 18 to 25 — we have the president of Pulse Asia and political scientist Dr. Ronald Holmes. To talk about the latest survey by Octa Research and Development — conducted January 25-31 — Octa president and another political scientist Dr. Ranjit Rye also joins the show.

Watch the episode on Wednesday, February 12, at 8 pm. – Rappler.com
