Gina May Aranda, general manager of Panorama Summit, said they agreed to offer tourists a smooth experience by blending the best urban and nature-based tourism to make this city a top destination for local and international travelers.

“This partnership is a testament to the resilience of Davao City’s tourism sector, which has faced challenges in the wake of the pandemic. By fostering collaborations, stakeholders aim to attract more tourists and boost local businesses,” Aranda said.

Aranda said that the partnership paves the way for several businesses to get involved, creating a ripple effect of economic benefits from logistics to food and retail establishments, as industries are expected to gain from the influx of tourists.

She said that while  Panorama caters to business events and guests intended for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) or urban tourists, the resort can offer travelers nature-focused activities, relaxation, and adventure tourism.

Luis Enrico Salazar, senior sales and marketing executive of the Montefrio Garden Resort, said with the partnership, they can work together to promote tourism in Davao City and  neighboring cities and enhance the region’s overall tourism.

“This is not just about business but also fostering a thriving tourism industry for everyone. And, as we continue to expand our network of partners, our goal remains the same, to showcase the best of the entire Davao and support the local economy,” Salazar said.

Ivanne Villavicencio, sales and marketing executive of the Montefrio Garden Resort, thanked their partner for the opportunity. He said Davao City’s tourism sector has long been recognized for its rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscape, and warm hospitality.

The Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions, led by Glen Paguio, also signed a  partnership with the Panorama Summit Hotel on Tuesday to enhance transportation and hospitality services for guests or tourists.
