Compared to similar looking 125cc bikes in the same price range which are normally powered by a two-valve engine, the Giorno+ boasts of a four-valve engine.

It is also liquid-cooled and has a smart key system, which is equipped with an anti-theft alarm and an answer-back functionality.

Other features include a combi-brake system, a 30-liter luggage box that can supposedly fit a half face helmet, LED headlight and taillight, and an idling stop system.

“We are searching almost always [for] the customers’ needs, the customers’ satisfaction. We put importance on reliability and durability,” said Arai.

The Giorno+ is the only classic-looking scooter on Honda Philippines’ current lineup following the departure of the Scoopy and Genio, although it is not exactly a new model.

An upgraded version of the charming Giorno introduced in the 1990s, the Giorno+ first landed in Thailand in 2023 before it got a local release.

The Giorno+ is available in four colors, virgin beige, matte gunpowder black metallic, pearl jubilee white, and piquant orange, with all four sporting similar brown seat cover and brown handle grips.
