After trying to write three different stories this morning on topics that didn’t interest me in the slightest, I’ve decided to cut my losses and plant some seeds that I can harvest in the future to help keep newsless mornings like this from leaving gaps in MB’s delivery schedule. That’s why I’m here, begging for your questions. Please let me know your question, your display name (what I can call you in public), and leave your email address, and I’ll send a little gift your way if your question is answered in an upcoming post. This is an “Ask Me Anything” format, so please feel free to ask whatever you like. You can ask multiple questions (better chances of getting picked, especially if the questions are very different). I’m happy to field questions on the market and its companies, but also on anything related to my investing approach, or that you’d like to know about me (within reason, of course). Here’s the link to the Google Forms survey [link].

MB bottom-line: A good example question might be something like: “What do you do when you don’t feel that internal spark to write because all of the news from the previous day is boring?” That’s a pretty good question! Well, the first thing I do is dip into my inbox to see if there are any private reader questions that I can anonymize and answer publicly, because responding to direct questions activates my creative energy and entertains me while I write. Answering reader questions can also help break through writer’s block, which is a real problem on some days because I wake up very early in the morning to write and as soon as I sit down I know in the back of my head that my time is limited to convert public disclosures into MB-worthy news pieces. If I hit too many dead ends in a row, it can be day-saving for me to answer a reader's question to have enough content to justify a send. Getting a wide range of questions also helps guide future MB content, as the questions reveal what’s really on the minds of my readers, what they’re worried about, and what they’re interested in. If you have a second, you can help MB through this difficult news time (haha) by clicking this link.
