MANILA, Philippines — Multinational software company HashMicro is looking to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) program in the Philippines, aimed at improving the day-to-today activities of local businesses.
HashMicro CEO Ricky Halim said the company has developed its AI-native enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform around the operation, scale and growth of Philippine companies.
“We have been in this market long enough to know what works here and what does not. That knowledge is in the product, in how the approval flows are built, how compliance is handled, and how the AI assists real teams doing real work,” he said.
The software company said that other ERP platforms in the Philippine market are built for western businesses, resulting in functional gaps, such as government compliance being seen as an afterthought and interfaces designed for desktops in a mobile first environment.
According to HashMicro, its integrated AI platform will ease the burden of users without the need for further training. “The platform works for the people on it, whatever their role or comfort level with enterprise software,” it said.
The company said that its ERP platform could cover all core business functions, including finance, human resources, inventory, procurement, among others.
The implementation of the software is conducted without the need for third-party consultants or long customization cycles.
“The interface was also built for how Filipino teams actually work: mobile-first for a workforce that manages approvals, monitors inventory, and tracks operations on the go,” the software company said.
It added that role-based views, localized workflows, and approval chains are reflected as actual reporting lines in the platform.
Citing a study by CPA Australia, 69 percent of Filipino small and medium enterprises that invested in technology in 2024 showed improved profitability. This was seen above the 56 percent average seen in Asia-Pacific.
