Harvard University is offering 122 online courses for free, so if you're planning to upskill this 2025, now's your chance!
As seen on the Ivy League university's website, the courses cover a wide range of subject areas, such the Humanities, Business, Arts and Design, Mathematics, and Education, among others.
The courses' duration range from one week to over 12 weeks, and learners can finish their course of choice at their own pace.Some of the courses are already available to take, while others are set to open in the coming months.
Harvard University will also give free access to the materials for each course, including videos and readings prepared by its instructors.
Just some of the interesting courses offered are "The Health Effects of Climate Change," "Women Making History: Ten Objects, Many Stories," "Building Personal Resilience: Managing Anxiety and Mental Health," "Backyard Metereology: The Science of Weather," "Science & Cooking: From Haute Cuisine to Soft Matter Science," and many more.
Learners may also opt to get a verified certificate of completion after finishing a course, although they will need to pay for the certificate. Fees vary depending on the course.
In 2024, Harvard also offered 142 online courses for free.
Meanwhile in January, UP Open University announced that it is offering 44 Massive Course Online Courses this 2025 for free.
