Good news to all "Haikyuu!!" fans! We'll get to see our favorite volleyball team again on the big screen!

After the "Haikyuu!! The Dumpster Battle," the franchise's next installment has been confirmed.

On YouTube, Toho Animation shared a 59-second clip of the teaser of the next film, titled "Haikyu!! vs. The Little Giant."

The short teaser featured Shoyo Hinata and his team from Karasuno High School up against Kamomedai High School, led by their star player Korai Hoshiumi.

According to Crunchyroll, Susumu Mitsunaka, the filmmaker behind the animated series, is set to return as director for the film. The release date has yet to be announced.

Aside from that, a special episode titled "Haikyu!! The Place Where Monsters Go" will also be released.

It will depict the battle between Fukurodani Academy and Mujinazaka High School and their star players, Kotaro Bokuto and Wakatsu Kiryu, respectively.

Based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate, "Haikyuu!!" follows the story of Hinata Shoyo, who wishes to become a volleyball star like the "Little Giant," and joins the Karasuno High School Volleyball Team. Arguably their biggest rival is the Nekoma High School Volleyball Team, led by captain Kuroo Tetsuro and setter Kozume Kenma.

The anime adaptation began airing in 2014. The manga ended in July 2020.
