MANILA, Philippines — A brief sibling reunion took place when former actress Gretchen Barretto attended the wake of her mother Estrella "Inday" Barretto.

Gretchen's siblings Claudine and Joaquin or "JJ" confirmed their mother's passing last January 29. Inday was 89 years old.

According to Claudine, Gretchen took turns with her other siblings — Michelle, Geraldine, and Marjorie — looking after Inday during her final days.

Gretchen appeared at the wake alongside her partner Antonio "Tonyboy" Cojuangco Jr., reuniting her with Claudine and JJ.

Photos shared by JJ see Claudine and Gretchen embracing as well as all three sharing a moment by their mother's coffin.

Fans of the Barretto family were quick to notice that Marjorie was also at Inday's wake, but not on the day Gretchen arrived.

It can be recalled that the two sisters were involved in a spat that came to a high point during the wake of their father Miguel, so much that then-president Rodrigo Duterte physically intervened.

Colleagues also paid their respects to Inday including former senator Dick Gordon, Ogie Diaz, Small Laude, Janno Gibbs, Bing Loyzaga, Mark Anthony Fernandez, and Korina Sanchez who was accompanied by her brother Milano, who is reportedly dating Claudine.
