SEN. Bong Go pressed for support in rebuilding disaster-hit communities as he helped typhoon victims in Dilasag, Aurora.
The reelected senator's team conducted a relief operation on May 30 for 132 affected individuals who received housing materials assistance to help them rebuild their homes.
The beneficiaries also received food packs, snacks, clothing, basketballs and volleyballs.
In a video message, Go assured them that they are not alone in their recovery.
"Please do not lose hope," he said in Filipino.

Go also encouraged Filipinos to continue looking out for one another, noting that Republic Act 12076, or the Ligtas Pinoy Centers Act, a measure that he principally authored and co-sponsored, institutionalizes the construction of proper evacuation centers nationwide.
He renewed his call for the passage of Senate Bill 188, which seeks to establish the Department of Disaster Resilience.
If enacted into law, the proposed department "would centralize and streamline the government's efforts in disaster preparedness, response and recovery," Go said.
"Every life is important. That's why all aspects of disaster management — from rescue, relief, up to recovery and rehabilitation — should be planned and implemented properly."
