SEN. Bong Go extended his porridge feeding program to public hospitals nationwide to support patients and health frontliners.
The senator's office said he reached out once again to Filipinos in need through his feeding initiative called "Palugaw ni Mr. Malasakit."
Go, in a statement, said the feeding program was part of his "continued advocacy for accessible health care and community well-being."
He said that from Feb. 1 to Feb. 6, the program was extended to hospitals nationwide, "providing warmth and nourishment to patients, their families, and medical frontliners who remain steadfast in their service to the nation."
The initiative, according to Go, is his way of showing his commitment to public service by offering compassion, comfort, solidarity, and hope to those facing health challenges.

"Health care is not just about treatment — it's about showing compassion, providing emotional support, and making people feel that they are not alone in their struggles," said Go, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography.
Go authored Republic Act 11463 or the Malasakit Centers Act, which streamlines medical assistance programs through Malasakit Centers nationwide.
"These centers have helped ease the burden of hospital expenses for millions of Filipinos, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to medical care," he said.
