Yesterday, I was watching a person on discord's share screen (livestream) which was oddly hangs up, and their voices cuts off at the same time as well.
So I've tried pinging google then the image above shows, I thought it was just a Lan Cable issue because of how consistent it was. 8 Pings then Request timed out,
Somehow we managed to fix this issue by restarting the modem, so day goes on.. No problem whatsoever.
Till today, the same problem came back, same issue, same 8 consistent ping then RTO. Tried pinging with the Main Router, it gave us the same issue, 10%-20% packet loss. Meaning it wasn't just on my Pc's Lan cable, its on Globe's side.
We tried restarting it every 1-5 minutes for like 5 hours if it ever fixes it but It didn't, IP addresses are different on every restart but it the problem seems to linger.
We checked Globe's App, says our internet may have been changed due to Fair Use Policy and will reset on next month.
Our Fiber Plan supposed to be unlimited, How come?
I'd understand if my net speed was lowered but Unstable internet? Come on, This is stupid.
Thing I only want was Stability, I can't have myself be presenting on a client with a lagging internet. Files be getting corrupted due to RTOs.
We've been using PLDT for like 6+ years, we've never encountered this issue on them even with heavy downloads, heavy usage of bandwidths, We changed ISP's due to subcontractors ng PLDT na we think is corrupt, but that's a different topic.
We've been only on Globe for like half a month yet we stumbled upon this problem.
Anyone else have experienced this issue?
