MAYANTOC, Tarlac — The All Lights Village Program of Global Peace Foundation marks another meaningful milestone with the successful launch of a solar-powered community learning center in Gayonggayong, bringing light, opportunity and renewed hope to underserved communities.

This initiative was made possible through the support of Bless Microfinance Corporation, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Mayantoc, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the Department of Education (DepEd).

Through this collective effort, the project aims to uplift hundreds of families while strengthening support for the learners and educators of Gayonggayong Elementary School.

The newly established center serves as a hub for education, digital learning and community development—powered entirely by sustainable solar energy.

Designed to be a safe, inclusive and functional space, it is equipped with 10 laptops, a smart TV, whiteboard, printer, tables and chairs for collaborative learning, and essential educational materials for students, families and community members.

In areas where access to reliable electricity remains a challenge, the center opens new opportunities for children to study, for youth to explore digital skills, and for families to engage in lifelong learning.

Leonard Faustino, executive director of Global Peace Foundation Philippines, emphasized the broader impact of the initiative.

“Hindi lang ito simpleng proyekto—ito ay isang espasyo para sa pagkatuto at pag-unlad. Kapag may access ang komunidad sa edukasyon at tamang resources, mas nagiging posible ang mas maliwanag na kinabukasan para sa bawat pamilya," Faustino said.

Marie Beatrice Mendoza, president and CEO of Bless Microfinance Corporation, highlighted the importance of collaboration.

More than an infrastructure project, the learning center reflects the power of partnership and a shared commitment to ensure that no community is left behind.

Through sustainable solutions and values-driven collaboration, the initiative continues to empower lives and build resilient, future-ready communities.
