MANILA, Philippines—Gilas Pilipinas women’s 3×3 squad was off to a losing start in the 2026 Fiba 3×3 Women’s World Cup in Warsaw, Poland on Monday.
The Philippines dropped its first two games, absorbing a narrow loss to Latvia in Group C action, 14-11, before getting blown out by Germany, 22-10.
Kacey Dela Rosa scored five points and three rebounds while Mikka Cacho contributed three points and three rebounds but the Latvians still proved to be too much for Gilas.

Dela Rosa and Cacho paced Gilas again versus the Germans with four points each.
Ama Degbeon and Laura Zolper caused problems for the Philippines with 10 and seven points, respectively, for Germany.
Gilas women still have a chance to bolster their campaign on Wednesday when they take on China and Italy.
Gilas needs to secure a top two spot to advance to the semifinals, while a third-place finish in the group stage puts the Philippines in the play-in.
