Gatchalian to DepEd exec who lacks SHS guidelines: Action, not empty talk

MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian chided an official of the Department of Education (DepEd) on Tuesday over an undelivered promise to issue new guidelines that would address the lingering problems in the government’s senior high school voucher program (SHS-VP). During the hearing of the Senate committee on basic education, Gatchalian confronted lawyer Tara Rama, Director III of
