After riding high on the global success of their “Daleng Dale” cover, rising P-Pop group GAT is hitting two major milestones — the release of their debut single and the announcement of an upcoming fragrance line.

Comprised of singer-actors Ethan David, Charles Law, Michael Keith, Derick Ong, and Hans Paronda, GAT first made their mark with renditions of popular hits such as James Reid’s “Huwag Ka Nang Humirit,” Juan Caoile and Kyleswish’s “Marikit,” and South Border’s “Rainbow.”

But it was “Daleng Dale” that propelled them into the spotlight, especially after it was used as the soundtrack for Viva One’s hit series “Ang Mutya ng Section E,” starring Andres Muhlach, Ashtine Olviga and Rabin Angeles. Four members — Ethan, Charles, Michael, and Derick — are also part of the show’s supporting cast.

The group’s version of “Daleng Dale” sparked a viral TikTok dance craze and racked up millions of Spotify streams, setting the stage for their next big move.

On August 1, they released “Kakaiba,” a self-written debut single about the rush of an irresistible attraction. Produced with Sweden-based music publishing and production company The Kennel and singer-songwriter Kylu Garcia, the track captures the euphoria of intense infatuation.

The GAT boys are also expanding their brand with a signature fragrance under Viva Beauty.

Called GAT Eau De Parfum, the scent was handpicked by the members to reflect their grit, growth, and greatness. It blends spicy and earthy notes of cardamom, akigalawood, and turmeric with the depth of frankincense, oak, cedar, white sandalwood, and iris, finishing with warm hints of vanilla and golden amber.

The fragrance aims to mirror their powerful stage presence while giving fans — known as TAGs, short for Together Always, GAT — a way to carry the group’s energy with them.

“Kakaiba” is now streaming on major music platforms. GAT Eau De Parfum will be available soon.
