“Freakier Friday,” the much-awaited sequel of the 2003 film “Freaky Friday,” just dropped its first trailer, and the fun is nonstop.
Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprise their roles as Anna and Tess Coleman. When they visit a fortune teller, they are told that their paths had intersected before and may need to learn “a lesson that may serve you again.”
It is later revealed that a body switch would happen again, but this time, with the characters played by Julia Butters and Sophia Hammons. The four ladies then navigate their day while stuck in other bodies.
The trailer also featured appearances from Anna’s rock band Pink Slip, the Chinese restaurant owner, and Chad Michael Murray, who was Anna’s love interest Jake from the first movie.
“Freakier Friday” started production in 2024. The cast has been posting about their time on set, like with teaser photos and behind-the-scenes TikTok videos.
According to Deadline, the cast members returning from the first movie are Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Michell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao.
