THE France-Philippines United Action (FPUA) proudly launched phase two of the Youth for Dagat project, empowering students to fight plastic pollution.
This phase includes ambassadors from UP, FEU, DLSU, ADMU, World Citi Colleges, Adamson University and Miriam College, promoting sustainable waste management in their schools and communities.
The Student Ambassador Program equips participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Through training by Plastic Odyssey, students learn about plastic's impact, recycling processes, and low-tech waste solutions used worldwide.
Beyond awareness, the program drives real action. A Design Thinking Workshop will help students develop waste management initiatives, including eco-bin installations on campuses.
Student ambassadors will also organize the Summit on Plastic Solutions, running alongside the United Nations Conference on the Ocean, engaging stakeholders in discussions on plastic pollution solutions.
