Families can enjoy a fun-filled movie experience this week as four films have received age-appropriate ratings from the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
The Thai animated film "Out of the Nest," about a goat and seven adorable, talented chicks, and the South Korean concert movie "IU Concert: The Winning," starring the South Korean pop star "IU," were rated G (General Audience), suitable for all ages.
"Firefighters," a Korean drama based on the true story of the 2001 Hongje-dong fire disaster, and "Woodwalkers," about young shape-shifters enrolled in an exclusive secret school, were rated PG (Parental Guidance), allowing children under 13 to watch in the company of their parents or guardians.

For adults seeking thrill and action, the much-awaited "Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare," a British independent horror movie starring Martin Portlock, earned ratings of R-16 (suitable for viewers 16 and older) and R-18 (for mature audiences).

The same R-16 and R-18 ratings were also accorded to "The Baby in the Basket" due to complex themes, horror, mature content, and language not suitable for young viewers.
MTRCB Chairperson and CEO Lala Sotto-Antonio reminds parents and guardians of the importance of selecting age-appropriate content for their children.
"Movies play a crucial role in shaping young minds. Through responsible viewing, we can ensure that children not only enjoy but also learn valuable lessons from the films they watch," Sotto-Antonio said.
