A drivable life-size LEGO car? The toy company just made it happen, and Formula 1 drivers got first dibs on taking them for a lap during the Miami Grand Prix.
On Instagram, F1 and LEGO shared a joint video of the 10 life-size LEGO cars being taken out for a spin, with two F1 drivers riding the LEGO car — one as driver and the other as passenger.
The cars are inspired by the 10 teams of the F1 race: McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Mercedes, Williams, Racing Bulls, Haas, Aston Martin, Alpine, and Kick Sauber.
The LEGO cars weren't the only highlight at the Miami Grand Prix. Several Hollywood stars and celebrities were spotted in the paddock, including Lisa and Rosé of BLACKPINK, Gordon Ramsay, and Timothée Chalamet.
While the life-size F1 LEGO cars are not available for viewing in the Philippines, the toy manufacturer hosted racing-inspired activities in April for Filipino fans to experience the thrill of motorsport.
