Flow G marked another milestone as he celebrated his birthday and the launch of his first solo album.
Filipino rapper and singer Flow G turned his special day into a back-to-back celebration.
On Friday evening, August 15, the rapper gathered his family, friends, and fellow artists at Brooklyn Warehouse in Manila for a special birthday bash that also doubled as a listening party for his first-ever full-length album, 247.
After spending years in the industry, he released his first solo album with the hope of inspiring more people through his love for his craft.
"Ang inspiration ko din talaga is 'yung mga naranasan ko at mas gusto ko ipakita at sabihin sa message na still kahit ang dami ko nang ginawa, araw araw pa din ako nagsisimula," he said.
As long as people believe in him, he said, he is ready to face expectations and do his best to meet his fans' hopes.
Adding to the night's celebration, he revealed that all 100 pieces of the limited-edition vinyl of his debut album were already sold out.
"Ubos na po siya. Sold out na po talaga siya kasi nilabas ko talaga 'yung songs, ang promise ko sa tao, once na maubos na 'yung 100 pieces, ire-release ko siya kaya kahit late night kagabi, ni-release ko na kasi naubos na po talaga siya e," the rapper shared.
He also expressed his gratitude to those who purchased the vinyl and humbly asked them to take care of it, saying it felt special because "sa akin siya galing, pinagpuyatan ko siya."
Recently, the rap artist sold a limited-edition vinyl to Pinoy collector Boss Toyo on his online show Pinoy Pawnstar for Php 100,000.
His 247 album, which consists of 12 tracks, marks his first-ever full-length record after releasing singles since 2018.
