CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — Another fish kill incidents have been recorded in the towns of Baroy and Tubod in Lanao del Norte, according to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
The BFAR- Northern Mindanao attributed the fish kill to harmful algal blooms or red tide.
Edward Yasay, BFAR regional director, said a red tide warning has been issued in affected communities after authorities noted discoloration in their coastal waters.
