MANILA, Philippines — First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos will not be joining President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in his upcoming trip to the United States, Malacañang said Wednesday.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro did not provide explanation on why the first lady would not be part of the delegation but she said the President would definitely bring key Cabinet officials to his trip.
This marks the first time Araneta-Marcos will skip a US visit since her husband assumed the presidency in 2022.
