Filipinos, foreign partners charged with illegal recruitment, estafa

MANILA, Philippines —Two event coordinators filed criminal complaints for large-scale illegal recruitment and estafa before the Tagaytay Prosecutors Office against Filipino citizens and their foreign counterparts. In a six-page joint complaint made public Tuesday, the victims said they were recruited last December 2024 for jobs in Singapore with a monthly salary of SGD2,000 or more
