MANILA, Philippines — Can Feng Shui, which is the art of Chinese geomancy, and beautiful artworks go together?
Mixed media artist Lizanne Uychaco opened her art exhibition, "Spectrum of Abundance," at the Gallery C of Conrad Manila.
A recognized Feng Shui artist, Uychaco produces artworks that stand out for their authenticity — rooted in her Chinese-Filipino heritage and brought to life through a masterful use of mixed media.
Her lifelong artistic training spans sculpture, pottery, jewelry-making, silver craft, Chinese painting and calligraphy, watercolor, oils, and acrylics. This breadth of expertise makes her pieces instantly recognizable and richly textured, making them a compelling paradox of antiquity and modernity as they showcase a distinctive fusion of East and West. Each piece offers a contemporary interpretation of ancient cultural symbols, beliefs, and energies associated with protection, good fortune, wealth, success, and prosperity.

Uychaco’s new "Spectrum of Abundance" solo exhibit, which recently opened Conrad Manila’s 2026 "Of Art and Wine" series, is open for viewing until March 21, 2026. Curated by art connoisseur Nestor Jardin, this 24-piece art collection serves as an artistic tribute to the Year of the Horse through themes of success, harmony, and abundance.
In "Spectrum of Abundance," Uychaco put together auspicious works of hers which have been inspired by ancient symbols of luck, strength, harmony, success, wealth, happiness, and abundance — elements that make a perfect collection as the country, along with the rest of the world with significant Chinese communities, welcomes, celebrates and honors the Year of the Fire Horse. Executed in richly textured mixed media, her works radiate positive energy, a harmony of culture, heritage, and artistic spirit.
