The Film Development Council of the Philippines in partnership with the Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines will screen international films this March through "A Curation of World Cinema."

The curated film lineup includes seven international flicks, with the first three opening on March 5: "The Seed of the Sacred Fig" by Mohammad Rasoulof, "Flow" by Gints Zilbalodis, and "Dahomey" by Mati Diop.

Meanwhile, "Bird" by Andrea Arnold, "Black Dog" by Guan Hu, "A Traveler's Needs" by Hong Sangsoo, and "Young Hearts by Anthony Schatteman will open on March 12.

Drama film "The Seed of the Sacred Fig" follows the story of Iman, a judge who becomes paranoid due to Tehran's political turmoil.

"Flow" is an animated fantasy film about a cat who finds a boat filled with different species after its home is washed away by a flood. "Flow" won Best Animated Feature at the Oscars 2025.

"Dahomey" is a documentary about the plundered royal treasures from the West African Kingdom of Dahomey and the return of these to Benin.

"Bird" is a coming of age drama film that centers on 12-year-old Bailey, her brother Hunter, and their single father Bug.

A Chinese drama, "Black Dog" follows Lang, a man who forms a bond with a stray dog after he is set free from jail.

"A Traveler's Needs" is about a French woman living in South Korea who begins teaching French to two Korean women.

Lastly, drama film "Young Hearts" follows the story of a teenage boy who develops romantic feelings for his new neighbor, a boy also his age.

Tickets are priced at P250 per film for Manila screenings and P200 for provincial screenings.
