Ex-drug convict, companion nabbed in Lucena; P571,000 shabu seized

LUCENA CITY—A former drug convict and his female companion were arrested late Monday after anti-narcotics operatives seized more than P570,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from them. Lucena police chief Lt. Col. Ryan Hernandez said the suspects, identified only as “Kokoy,” 52, and “Mariel,” 30, were collared in a buy-bust operation at 11:09 p.m. in
