CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — A former personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) was arrested in a buy-bust conducted by the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station in Barangay Daang Bago, Dinalupihan, Bataan on Thursday.
BGen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., regional director of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) said the operation was led by the Dinalupihan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) which resulted in the arrest of alias “DC,” a 31-year-old former officer of the BJMP.
Seized from the suspect's possession were 122.10 grams of suspected shabu worth P830,280 and the marked money used in the transaction.
In a statement, Peñones said PRO-3 remains steadfast in its anti-illegal drug efforts toward a drug-free and safer Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, an appropriate case is being prepared to be filed against the suspect who is currently detained at the Dinalupihan Police detention facility.
