MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies may bring rains across the country on Sunday, March 22, the state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms due to the weather system.
The rest of the country may also expect light to moderate winds blowing from the east to northeast.
Meanwhile, coastal waters will also be slight to moderate, with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 2.5 meters.
The state weather bureau reported that water levels in Manila Bay are projected to peak at 0.93 meters late this morning, before receding to a low of -0.1 meters tonight.
