Drew Arellano has undergone a vasectomy.
On Instagram, the “Biyahe ni Drew” host shared a photo of himself lying down in a hospital bed.
“Happy late and advanced Mother’s Day to my wife," he wrote in the caption. He also used the hashtags #HappyVA-SEC-TO-MEEE and #snipsnip.
Drew has been married to Iya Villania since 2014. They have five kids: Primo, Leon, Alana, Astro, and Anya.
In 2023, Drew opened up about his plan to get a vasectomy.
A minor surgical procedure, vasectomy is a form of male birth control that stops sperm from leaving the body.
The Commission on Population and Development (POPCOM) has promoted non-scalpel vasectomy as a form of contraceptive for men. It is said to be 99.8% effective and only needs to be done once.
