THE Department of Public Works and Highways – Regional Office 3 (DPWH-3), in collaboration with the Provincial Health Office of Pampanga, conducted a two-day flu vaccination program for its staff to prioritize their health during flu season.
The vaccination activity was held on Jan. 20-21 at the regional office gymnasium.
DPWH Regional Director Roseller Tolentino said the initiative is part of the department's commitment to safeguarding its workforce, emphasizing the crucial role employees play in the successful delivery of infrastructure programs.
"By ensuring the health of our personnel, we are better equipped to serve the public and carry out our projects effectively," Tolentino said.
Human Resource and Administrative Division (HRAD) chief Aikko Kris Mallari-Argel reported that 313 employees received flu vaccines, and expressed gratitude to OIC-Provincial Health Officer Dax Tidula and nurse Kamille Paule-Manlutac for their support in organizing the event.

Additionally, 93 immediate family members of the employees were vaccinated, extending health benefits to their households and contributing to community's well-being.
