Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano in "Tayo Sa Wakas"

MANILA, Philippines — Star Cinema released an official teaser for "Tayo Sa Wakas," the first project involving Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano in two years.
The production company announced that the DonBelle love team would reunite for a movie later this year, having not been together on the big screen since 2022's "An Inconvenient Love."
The teaser, in fact, begins with recreations of the actors' projects together, an idea conceptualized by Donny, first with the two-season show "He's Into Her" and the movie "Love Is Color Blind."
The scene shifts to DonBelle's "An Inconvenient Love" characters at a rally, which later passes by their characters from their most recent project, "How to Spot a Red Flag."
After Belle's Cha fixed Donny's Matt's collar, Matt tosses an extra box to his character from "Can't Buy Me Love" — arguably his and Belle's most well-known project — Bingo, who wheels out Belle's Ling on his "upgraded" tricycle.
Text read out by both actors goes "Nagsimula sa saya" and "Lumalim ang pagsasama" are intercut between scenes, until the mood shifts to Donny saying "Hanggang saan pa kaya?"
The teaser ends in a scene from "Tayo Sa Wakas" where both are stuck in traffic as Belle's character asks "Asan na ba tayo?" and Donny's character responds "Dito pa rin."
Belle's character rests her head on Donny's shoulder as the title card appears above her followed by confirmation of a May 27 release date.
No other cast member has been unveiled yet in the film directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, who directed Belle in "Meet, Greet & Bye."
Since being paired together, Donny's projects without Belle have been the film "GG: Good Game" and the ongoing action series "Roja."
Belle, meanwhile, has starred without Donny in the movie "Huling Sayaw," an episode of "Click, Like, Share" and the ensemble action show "Incognito." — Video from Star Cinema's YouTube channel
