Dole readies P1.2-B fund to help workers during crisis

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) has prepared P1.2 billion in standby funds to help workers who may lose income or jobs as a result of the ongoing energy crisis. The labor department said the fund will be used to “further intensify” its support programs as the government deals with a
