DOLE OSHC celebrates Women's Month through art, advocacy

THE Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) marked the culmination of its National Women's Month 2025 celebration at the OSHC Ichikawa Hall on Mar. 24, 2025.

Guided by the theme "Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas," the celebration concluded with a poster-making contest highlighting women's contributions to society and a gender equality talk led by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW).

OSHC Executive Director Jose Maria Batino welcomed participants and noted the role of arts in highlighting the roles, accomplishments and contributions of women.

DOLE Information and Publication Service Director Rosalinda Pineda was one of the judges of the poster-making competition.

Winning the competition at the OSHC level was the Health Division, while the regional extension unit category was won by Zamboanga Peninsula.
