DOJ asks Senate to allow department to take custody of Alcantara

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Justice (DOJ) has asked the Senate for permission to formally assume custody of dismissed Department of Public Works and Higways – Bulacan 1st District Engineer Henry Alcantara. Alcantara is currently being taken care of by the DOJ under its Witness Protection Program, although the Senate still maintains jurisdiction over
