DOH: New HIV cases decreased by 9 percent

MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Health (DOH) has recorded 4,633 new cases of individuals with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from January to March this year, which is 9 percent lower than the 5,101 new cases recorded in the same period last year. Based on data uploaded on the agency’s website, 24 percent, or 1,104, of the new
