MANILA, Philippines — Misleading social media posts offering paid assistance to access Electronic Drug Price Monitoring System (EDPMS) services should be avoided, the Department of Health (DOH) said yesterday.
Technical support to use EDPMS is free, the DOH noted.
Regional drug price monitoring officers in Metro Manila will help with account registration, account revalidation and issuance of certificates of compliance.
Other services include assistance with uploading, forgot password requests, personnel changes, data corrections and free EDPMS orientation.
The EDPMS is used to track and manage drug prices in the Philippines.
Drug outlets and establishments are mandated to submit medicine price data to the DOH through the EDPMS.
“We strongly advise not to engage with unauthorized people, entities or online platforms offering to process these services for a fee,” the DOH-Metro Manila Center for Health Development said.
